George Benson

Ten time Grammy winner George Benson, best known for hits such as "Turn Your Love Around", "Give Me The Night", "On Broadway", "The Greatest Love of All" , "This Masquerade", among many others, performs a compelling ode to "the city that never sleeps".

This song is featured on the new CD from The Embers, "Beach Music Super Collaboration", on Bluewater Recordings.

When asked why The Embers, the legendary Carolina musical group, chose this tune? Founder, Bobby Tomlinson said, "We wanted to pay tribute to the country and the city where we had such a great time recording."

George appeared American Idol giving a remarkable performance of "On Broadway" with contestants Nikko Smith and Scott Savol. The Society of Singers, Louis Armstong, "Satchmo", Humanitarian Award was presented to George in April of 2007.
