Ten time Grammy winner George Benson, best known for hits "Turn Your Love Around", "Give Me The Night", "On Broadway", "The Greatest Love of All" and "This Masquerade", performs a compelling ode to "the city that never sleeps" in his “New York City” single. “New York City” is featured on the new CD from The Embers, "Beach Music Super Collaboration" from Bluewater Recordings.

George appeared on American Idol performing his "On Broadway" with contestants Nikko Smith and Scott Savol.

The Society of Singers, Louis Armstong, "Satchmo", Humanitarian Award was presented to George in April of 2007.
